Robert Wingfield - Sagmarion

Sagmarion

A short story retelling an ancient myth

Making a rapid exit away from the irate boyfriend of a girl he seduced, Sagmarion finds himself on a Greek island, visiting an ancient temple.

He has suffered severe migraines since the moment he arrived, and stepping over the safety rope of the ruin gives him a brief vision of an ancient world and the cult of Dionysus.

His headache is cured permanently as he stumbles over a body in the gully.

This short story puts a new slant on an old legend and gives you an idea of what to expect from the author in the Ankerita books.

"The writer does not disappoint in this short story, full of mystery and intrigue. Beautiful countryside, hot air and ancient ruins provide a perfect spot for mystery and confusions and love."
