The September Affair

A Gothic chiller entwined with an echo from the past

The legend of a murdered girl and visions of her ghost on a mist-shrouded island takes Samuel through a shipwreck to an emotional conclusion as the world goes into economic meltdown. Written before the financial crisis, but predicting it as the counterpoint to a heart wrenching love story; the reflection of another from many years ago.

A short story packed with emotion.

This was originally written many years ago on a remote island, but has been revamped many times and is also available as a play. This heralded the very beginning of the writer's interest in telling stories, and was produced on a typewriter by his long suffering wife.

Interesting from the point of view of the writer's roots, but a good tale despite that.
